Our client, a long established and privately owned Garage in Olney have the requirement for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their established workshop team If you are not an MOT Tester you will get fast tracked to become a Tester,
Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / MOT Tester Responsibilities
Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / MOT Tester responsibilities will include:
Carry out Servicing & Repairs to the highest standards
Carry out MOT Tests to DVSA standards (if qualified)
Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
Full UK Driving Licence
Own Tools
Desirable Requirements:
Active MOT Tester Licence (Class 4 & 7)
Remuneration & Benefits
No Weekend Working
Monday to Friday 08.00 to 17.00hrs
22 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Performing diagnostic tests and identifying faults in vehicles
Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including servicing, brakes, suspension, and engine work
Completing work to a high standard and in a timely manner
Using diagnostic equipment and computer systems to diagnose vehicle problems
Ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations
Providing exceptional customer service and building strong customer relationship
