Front of House/MOT Tester – Bedford -
Basic Salary - £35,000- £37,500

Our client, a premium independent workshop in Bedford has the requirement for an experienced MOT Tester to join their established team. Please note this is a Multi Facet role, primarily carrying out Front of House duties, answering phones, allocating work as well as covering MOT and Technician Duties for holiday cover.
Main Responsibilities
As a Front of House/MOT Tester your responsibilities will include:
Answering Phones and Dealing with Customer Enquiries
Pricing up Parts
Allocating Work to Technicians
IT literate to use the Workshop Software
Carry out MOT Tests to DVSA standards
Liaise with Customer regarding test result
Carry out re-tests as appropriate
Carry out quality inspections
Keep up-to-date DVSA process and procedure
Maintaining electronic records in a complete and accurate manner
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
Front of House Experience
Active MOT Testing licence
2 years MOT Testing Experience
Excellent attention to detail
Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable Requirements:
Franchised Dealer Experience
Level 3 Qualification or Equivalent
Manufacturer Accreditations
